Google Business Profile
Categories, services, service area, hours, attributes and photos set correctly. Then kept correct. Most profiles lose visibility to neglect, not to competitors.
Local SEO
For a business that sells to a service area, most of the decision happens in the map pack. Before anyone scrolls to the organic results. Local SEO is the work that gets you into that box and keeps you there, plus the site quality that turns the click into a call.

Two competitors in the same city see completely different rankings, and neither can explain why. That is not a glitch: local results are assembled per searcher, weighted by how close they are, how prominent your business appears to be, and how well your site and profile explain what you actually do.
You cannot move your customers closer. You can change everything else. Most local businesses are losing on the parts they control: an incomplete profile, a site that never names the services in the words people search, service-area pages that are the same page with the city swapped, and reviews that arrive by accident.
Scope
The mix shifts by business. A single-location trade with a strong profile needs different work than a multi-location operation whose pages compete with each other. The goal never shifts: be the nearby business a ready-to-buy customer calls first.

Prominence signals we can actually influence: profile completeness, review velocity and consistency, and the on-site content Google uses to understand what you do and where.
Real pages for real markets, each with distinct local substance. Where a page would only be a city-name swap, we do not build it.
Name, address and phone consistent across the directories that still matter, and duplicates resolved so Google is not choosing between two versions of you.
A process for earning reviews steadily and responding to them. Treated as a ranking and conversion input, never manufactured.
Speed, crawlability and structured data. A local business with a slow site loses the click before the location work can pay off.
Evidence
Coastal Craft Roofing sells across Edmonton, Calgary, Red Deer and Central Alberta. The rebuild fixed the technical foundation first, because a slow site undermines every other local signal.

What we will not do
Virtual offices, a registered address you do not work from, or a network of near-identical city pages will sometimes produce a short-term ranking. They also produce suspended profiles and filtered pages, and they are somebody else's business model, not ours.
Where you have a genuine presence or a genuine service area, we will compete hard for it. Where you do not, we will say so and target the markets you can actually win.
It fits when customers search with local intent, “near me”, a city name, or an urgent need, and when a new customer is worth enough to justify sustained work. Trades, clinics, professional services and any business whose customers need someone within driving distance are the usual fit.
It is the wrong service when your buyers are national or global, when the product ships anywhere and proximity is irrelevant, or when the market is small enough that a single well-built page plus a complete profile would do the whole job. In that last case we will build the smaller thing.
Questions
Local SEO targets searches where Google decides the result by proximity and local prominence, which usually means the map pack sits above the organic results. The work overlaps with ongoing SEO, but it adds the Google Business Profile, service-area structure, location pages and review signals that only matter when the customer needs someone nearby.
Yes, for the profile work. You keep ownership; we ask for manager access. If the profile is unverified, suspended or duplicated, resolving that comes before anything else, because Maps visibility depends on it.
Not in the map pack, honestly. Google's local results depend on a verified location. What we can do is compete in the organic results for that city with a genuine service-area page, and we will tell you when the map pack is out of reach rather than sell you pages that cannot rank.
One or many. Multi-location work adds profile management, location-page architecture and internal linking that keeps the locations from competing with each other. Businesses with genuinely separate premises get separate pages; a single business does not get a page per suburb.
