Leads in the first week of a brand-new site.

WBS Landscaping is a seasonal service business in the Edmonton area with no organic presence before this project. The new site launched on August 18, 2026 and started producing enquiries almost immediately. Well ahead of the months organic usually takes.

The starting point

Before this project, WBS had no organic leads and no real search presence. Like most local trades starting out, the phone rang from word of mouth or not at all. Landscaping is also sharply seasonal, so a site has to be earning attention as the season opens, not months later.

The job was a foundation: a fast, findable website and the local-search setup a service-area business needs to show up when someone nearby searches for the work.

What we did

A findable foundation, built to convert.

  1. 01

    Custom website

A fast, custom-built site covering the services and the areas WBS actually works, with a clear path to an enquiry.

  2. 02

    Local search foundation

The Google Business Profile and local signals set up so a seasonal, service-area business can be found nearby.

  3. 03

    Built for the season

Launched and positioned to catch demand as it arrives, rather than waiting on the slow build organic usually needs.

Organic leads

Organic leads tracked in analytics, August 18–24, 2026. Before this engagement, the business had no organic leads.

This is a very early, small-sample result, days, not months, so it is not yet a trend. We publish it because it happened faster than organic normally does, not because a week proves a program.

What happens next

The foundation is in; the work now is building visibility and content around the services and areas that matter as the season runs, and measuring which of them produce enquiries. Updated figures will be published with their sources and dates as the record grows.
